  11. SHORT DESCRIPTION FOR SHAREWARE CATALOGS

  13. Test your logic and deduction AGAINST your computer.  PC-Sherlock is
  14. "Mastermind with a difference". Here, unlike other mastermind games,
  15. your computer actually competes with you to deduce the secret number.
  16. And, it plays like a pro! The Game is presented in graphics where you
  17. and your computer must determine each other's secret number using
  18. pure logic. Complete On Line tutorial is provided. The rules of the
  19. game are simple, but the play can be deceptively complex. Please do
  20. not miss a chance to see your computer turn into a clever opponent.

  22. 3.1 or later.

  27. PC-Sherlock is a 'brain' Game, involving logical reasoning and
  28. deduction.  You and your PC play against each other to deduce each
  29. other's secret number. PC-Sherlock presents your PC as an extremely
  30. intelligent player and it is tough to win against it.  Of course,
  31. every advantage is given to the human player to ensure that good
  32. players can really win against PC. Surprisingly, the Game becomes
  33. more and more exciting as you learn to apply your logic in a more
  34. skillful manner. Of course, the Game is random and there is no fixed
  35. strategy or formula to win. So the Game remains exciting even after
  36. thousands of plays.

  40. For more information, startup the program by typing 'Sherlock' at DOS
  41. prompt and choose option 'Tutorial' from Main menu. Tutorial also
  42. contains information on "What is new in this version".

  53. HOW TO START THE PROGRAM :

  55. Type 'Sherlock' at DOS prompt.

  58. first go thorugh the Tutorial to get an understanding of the Game and
  59. various menu options.)
